Recurring cleaning

Weekly, fortnightly or monthly cleaning: how often is right?

The best frequency is the one that prevents the home from drifting beyond a routine-maintenance scope. Household size, pets, working patterns and how much cleaning you do between visits all matter.

Weekly

Weekly cleaning suits busy homes, larger households, pets, frequent cooking or anyone who wants the same core tasks reset consistently. Shorter gaps normally mean less build-up and clearer recurring priorities.

Fortnightly

Fortnightly visits are a common middle ground when the household manages light cleaning between appointments but wants regular help with bathrooms, floors and dusting.

Monthly

Monthly cleaning can work as an occasional reset for lower-use homes. It may not be enough to maintain a standard-clean condition if kitchens, bathrooms or floors build up quickly between visits.

Start with the real condition

If the home currently needs a detailed reset, begin with a deep clean and review the result before choosing a recurring frequency. After several visits, adjust the schedule using evidence: what is consistently completed, what builds up, and whether the booked time remains realistic.
