How cleaning quotes are calculated
A useful cleaning quote connects a price to a defined scope. Property size matters, but so do the type of clean, frequency, extras, access and any condition that changes the time or equipment required.
The core inputs
Most estimates begin with the selected service and a practical measure of property size. Cleaning Direct’s published estimator then applies the chosen property type, bedroom count, frequency and optional extras using the prices shown in the booking journey.
- Standard, deep, end-of-tenancy, office or short-let scope
- House, flat or office
- Bedroom count within the estimator’s supported range
- One-off, weekly, fortnightly or monthly frequency
- Selected extras such as an oven or fridge interior
Why an estimate may need confirmation
A form cannot inspect unsafe access, severe build-up, hazardous material, specialist finishes or a request outside the stated scope. Those details can require a revised scope, additional time or a responsible decline before a booking is confirmed.
What recurring discounts mean
A recurring price assumes the property can be maintained at the agreed interval. If the first visit needs a detailed reset, it may be priced separately before the recurring schedule begins.
How to compare quotes
Compare the included tasks, exclusions, visit assumptions, cancellation terms and whether optional work is itemised. The lowest number is not a like-for-like comparison if the scope is narrower or important conditions are missing.
